Subwoofers at Fasila Music
A subwoofer or sub-woofer is a closed box (without event) or bass reflex (with an event) equipped with a large diameter loudspeaker that reproduces the lowest frequencies of 20 to 40Hz for the best performers. There are passive (non-amplified) caissons or active (amplified) caissons. The subwoofer is also complemented with loudspeaker cabinets in order to reproduce the best of the sound spectrum.

The E18SW is a high-performance direct-output subwoofer with an 800-watt 18-inch woofer with aluminum bowl. It is designed to produce crushing low frequencies during live performances with bass drum and bass in front or for the intense rhythms and energy characteristic of dance music. An M20 threaded socket and mounting pole are provided for sub-satellite deployment with any two-way E-Series model. For portable applications, it includes attachment points for four optional castors. The 4 ohm impedance of the subwoofer means that only one woofer can be optimally powered by a less expensive amplifier. The E Series speakers deliver optimum performance with any professional quality power amplifier, but more performance and options are available by leveraging the entire E Entertainment System series. Current amplified speakers rely on calibrated digital signal processing (DSP) to achieve even better performance. When used with QSC GXD or PLD amplifiers or with a QSC TouchMix digital mixer, the E Series speakers can also take advantage of advanced DSP settings. QSC has developed E-Series DSP...
